Primary Design Completes AvalonBay.com March 13th, 2009 Haverhill, MA: Primary Design announces the completion of the new AvalonBay Communities corporate website, www.AvalonBay.com and associate portal, My AvalonBay. AvalonBay Communities, Inc. is one of the nation's leading Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) listed on the NYSE. As the agency of record for AvalonBay Communities, Primary Design was responsible for overall website re-design of the corporate website including design and development of its new look and feel. Site design and development involved overhaul of the existing website in addition to integration of 3rd party web content. The existing photo and document library was also improved with enhanced search capabilities and flexible tagging and categorization options for administrators. In addition, the My AvalonBay portal provides a homepage which employees can customize as well as a way for administrators to post messages and announcements for all employees. All of these sections are controlled via an integrated Administration application and user-friendly Content Management System. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is enhanced and ensured through on-going assessment and analysis.
